External morphology
The plant body is haploid gametophytic thallus. Gametophytic phase is the dominant phase in the life cycle. The vegetative body is small, prostrate dorsiventral thallus. The thallus is generally dichotomously lobed and usually appears as an orbicular or semi-orbicular rosette form.
